Summer Essentials

Summer is coming and is your wardrobe ready?  At Stella & Dot our Summer Collection was just released and there are so many vibrant colors to complete all of your summer looks.  With lots of the new pieces under $60.00 they are an affordable luxury.

Summer 2012 Essentials

My favorites for summer are all of the new bangles.  The Lindsay Bangles with silver come in Turquoise and White and with gold come in Pink and Orange.  And the Eleanor Bangle with silver comes in a multi color of Turquoise and Green.  I love layering the Eleanor with the Turquoise and White Lindsay Bangles for a fabulous arm candy look!

The coral inspired pieces are spectacular, especially the Cameron Pendant Necklace.  Hand sculpted coral branch pendant in white enamel with turquoise and lapis colored stone accents, on a gold plated brass diamond link chain.  Stylist Sandy Sembler named this necklace after her son Cameron, who is her assistant and inspiration. In true Stella & Dot fashion, Sandy is teaching Cameron that anything is attainable with positive attitude and hard work.

Spring 2012 Pastel and Bold Trends!!

Spring 2012 is all about pastels and bright colors, whether it’s in your clothing or jewelry wardrobe!!  Just like this latest outfit from NY & Company and all the way down to her toes.

If you want to update the clothing wardrobe you already have then just a few key pieces of jewelry can make your whole outfit fresh again.  You have a white sun dress like the one below from Victoria’s Secret dress then adding the Bahari Necklace or the Zahara Bib Necklace to this simple yet elegant dress and you have changed the whole look of the dress with these fabulous accessories.

Looking for some color in your foot wear then Aldo Shoes has lots of bright colors at fabulous prices.   This is one of my favorite shoe brands, I get so many compliments on my Aldo shoes.  The Cypers are a great shoe to wear while strolling the mall with a cute pair of shorts and a tank, the Calcagnis are great for movie night paired with your favorite jeans and white t-shirt and the Himes are fabulous for a date night with a flowing dress!

Statement pieces: finish the look!

Every woman should have a statement piece in their jewelry wardrobe whether it is a necklace, bracelet or pair of earrings.   Just like having the right outfit you need just the right jewels to finish your look.

A statement necklace that can go from day to evening glam like a lariat is a great example.  It looks like a rope and can be made into many shapes just as you are wearing a scarf so you are able to wear it in many ways.  A lariat can also be made into a bracelet making it the ultimate versatile piece.  A statement bracelet with texture draws the eye, and adds impact to even the most basic of looks and can transform your little black dress into a wow!  This is a trend to embrace.

Another way to make a statement on your arm is to layer multiple bracelets with different textures – to create this statement you would layer as many as three to five bracelets at once.  One bracelet by itself looks nice but looks even more fabulous when layered in multiples – think of it like a bouquet of flowers.

A statement earring could be delicate drops to full-on chandeliers, these statement styles grab attention without looking heavy or overdone.  The full-on chandeliers should be worn without a necklace or a dainty necklace in order to not overpower each other and the delicate drops could be worn with a bolder necklace.  Having one or all three statements in your jewelry wardrobe will complete any look that you are putting together.  So go ahead, experiment and enjoy!

Morocco: Sophisticated Elegance!
